Advanced Materials Division

The New Materials Division was established in 2006 to become a global top company in producing functional materials and began with the research of carbon nanotube dispersion and applied products. We hold numerous patents on nanomaterials and applied products and are the first company in Korea to develop the high-end perfluoropolyether silane in which mass production is in progress. We are currently developing a functional hard coating solution, UV curable hard coating, and fluorine-based functional materials that can be applied to flexible displays. We can provide customized development for customers with distinguished quality from competitors by using our own technology from the base material to finished products. We are striving to develop innovative product technology instead of being satisfied with the current superiority in technology, and plan to take a leap as a global top company in producing functional materials.

Fluorinated Coating material AF coating(Wet)

  • Anti-Finger Print Coating is to treat the surface of a substrate such as glass or plastic with fluorine-based silane to modify the surface to prevent adhesion of contaminants such as fingerprints and to easily remove them.
  • It has excellent durability due to its high compatibility with the coated substrate and maintains a uniform contact angle and has excellent slip characteristics.
  • Depending on the type of substrate, a primer may be required, and our company has the same or higher reliability in plastic film compared to the AF coating layer of existing tempered glass.
  • It maintains a uniform contact angle and has excellent slip characteristics.
  • It is a ceramic hybrid paint optimized for roll to roll and continuous spray process.

Fluorinated Coating material AF coating(Dry)

UV-curable fluorine-based additive

  • It has excellent spread ability due to low surface tension and is suitable for gravure, roll, and flow coating.
  • With excellent slip properties, it forms a coating film with excellent steel wool resistance.
  • Compared to the existing hard coating, it has optimized performance for display parts.
  • It has excellent water-repellent, oil-repellent, and anti-fouling performance by applying self-developed PFPE Acrylate.

Fluorinated Acrylic copolymer Dust trap

  • By mixing a fluorine solvent, the solvent dries quickly and there is no flash point, so it increases the efficiency of the coating operation and improves the safety of the working environment.
  • Toluene free type that does not contain general organic solvents such as toluene and ethyl acetate.
  • Based on fluorine-based acrylic resin, it maintains the micro-adhesiveness of the flexible film without smearing.

Fluorinated Semi-drying Film lubricant

  • A room temperature drying type fluorine-based moisture-proof, acid-resistant, rust-proof, insulation, and protective coating agent.
  • Protects components such as parts made of non-thermosetting materials and large parts.
  • Since it is possible to apply a thin film, it is possible to lower the viscous resistance even in the precision sliding part.
  • Semi-permanent lubricants are non-flammable and have little odor, so they are excellent in safety.
  • Excellent workability with quick drying at room temperature.
  • After coating, it forms a white lubricating film and is not sticky like grease.
